Rosetown RCMP Calls of Service Include MVC, Mischief & Theft
May 19- at 2:07pm – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious person on Highway 4. There was insufficient evidence to proceed. At 10:56pm – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a
vehicle collision with a deer on Highway 7. There were no injuries – reported for insurance purposes.
May 20 at 11:29pm – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle on Highway 7. Members located the vehicle and spoke to the driver and there was no suspicious activity.
May 21 at 10:08am – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of mischief in Fiske, SK. The complainant declined to proceed. At 11:09am – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a two vehicle collision on Highway 7. Members attended and there were no injuries. At 12:47pm – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motorcyclist accident on Highway 7 near Fiske, SK. Members attended along with Rosetown EMS and a 37-year-old male from Alberta was transported to hospital for assessment. At 9:10pm – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of theft in Wiseton, SK. The matter is still under investigation.
May 22 at 10:16pm – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious person on Highway 7 near Harris, SK. Members located a hitchhiker and nothing further was required.
May 23 at 10:16am – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a lost wallet. The matter is still under investigation. At 4:34pm – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Harris, SK. Members were unable to locate the vehicle. At 6:26pm – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of garbage dumped at a rural location. The matter is still under investigation.
May 24 at 1:39pm – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of theft in Rosetown, SK. The matter is still under investigation.
May 25 at 6:44pm – Rosetown RCMP acted as mediators in a family dispute.
There were 81 Traffic related charges issued, 3 911 mis-dial calls and 2 false alarm
calls.
