Kerrobert and District Historical Society Launches 50/50 Fundraiser for Kerrobert Courthouse Cultural Center

Kerrobert Museum partnered with the Kerrobert Courthouse Restoration Society to bring you our 1st Annual online 50/50 fundraiser! – Grab your tickets now!

Funds raised by this raffle will support the restoration of the Kerrobert Courthouse such as but not limited to the following:

IMMEDIATE PRIORITY  Provide drainage for water ponding and accumulating in south east parking lot adjacent to the building (can implement short term solution immediately and a long term solution by 2023 or with foundation repairs and damp proofing) Where concrete ledger is lost or substantially deteriorated, repair to ensure good support of brick remains.

HIGH PRIORITY  Excavate throughout the perimeter and place damp proofing system (Blueskin peal and stick membrane). Repair foundation concrete where deterioration and loss of concrete observed. Repair concrete brick ledger throughout. Install weeping tile and connect to sump pit. Minimum 2 sump pits. Concrete repair to damaged foundation concrete in fuel room. Provide access doorway to room from boiler room. Repoint brick through exterior.

MODERATE PRIORITY Remove diesel pit and remediate spilled fuel below slab as best as possible Remove and replace slab on grade through vault where damaged. Throughout exterior walls where acceptable to Saskatchewan Heritage, consider installing new wall assembly to provide improved insulation to building. Install additional insulation through attic to improve energy efficiency of building.
