MVC, Disturbing the Peace, and Stolen Vehicles Part of Rosetown RCMP’s Calls for Service
On August 4th, 2023, at 9:37 AM – The Rosetown RCMP received a complaint about an erratic driver on Highway 7 near McGee. Despite efforts, members were unable to locate the vehicle.
On August 4th, 2023, at 2:30 AM – The Rosetown RCMP responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a deer on Highway 7 near Zealandia, SK. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported for insurance purposes.
On August 4th, 2023, at 3:42 PM – The Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of fraud in Elrose, SK. The matter is currently under investigation.
On August 4th, 2023, at 9:05 AM – The Rosetown RCMP received a request to locate an individual on behalf of another police agency.
On August 4th, 2023, at 11:38 PM – The Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of disturbing the peace at a local business. Upon arrival, the situation had resolved itself, and no further action was required.
On August 5th, 2023, at 11:45 PM – The Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a stolen truck from Elrose, SK. The matter is currently under investigation.
On August 5th, 2023, at 3:06 PM – The Rosetown RCMP assisted another police agency in recovering a stolen truck located in Elrose, SK.
On August 5th, 2023, at 11:45 PM – The Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a stolen car at a rural farm location. The matter is still under investigation.
On August 7th, 2023, at 11:51 AM – The Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7. Unfortunately, the members were unable to locate the vehicle.
On August 7th, 2023, at 4:55 PM – During their patrols, the Rosetown RCMP found a 65-year-old male squatting in an abandoned building in Rosetown, SK. The property owner declined to pursue charges.
On August 7th, 2023, at 10:54 PM – The Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a motor vehicle collision with a deer on Highway 7 near Tessier, SK. There were no injuries reported for insurance purposes.
On August 8th, 2023, at 11:06 AM – The Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision with a deer on Highway 15. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported for insurance purposes.
On August 9th, 2023, at 10:57 AM – The Rosetown RCMP responded to a request for a wellbeing check in Elrose, SK. Officers attended and transported a 47-year-old male to the hospital for assessment.
On August 9th, 2023, at 4:15 PM – The Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7. Despite efforts, members were unable to locate the vehicle.
On August 9th, 2023, at 10:30 PM – The Rosetown RCMP received another request for a wellbeing check, this time in Rosetown, SK. Members engaged with the subject of the complaint.
On August 10th, 2023, at 10:18 AM – The Rosetown RCMP received two complaints of fraud. Both matters are currently under investigation.
On August 10th, 2023, at 11:55 AM – The Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an abandoned trailer at a business in Rosetown, SK. The matter is still under investigation.
On August 10th, 2023, at 1:33 PM – The Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle at a rural farmyard. The matter is currently under investigation.
There were 91 Traffic related charges issued, 1 911 mis-dial call and 1 false
alarm call.
