Kindersley Museum Shines with Successful Fashion Show
The Kindersley Museum and Tourism Centre have been bustling with activity!
On Wednesday, August 9th, tourism advisors Jordyn, Ailanie, and Kerry hosted the second annual Museum Wedding Fashion Show, which was a great success.
The Museum expressed its gratitude on social media, extending special thanks to volunteers, models, donors of dresses for the show, the Museum Board for granting the use of their space, the dedicated “Backstage Moms” assisting with buttons, Jeff from Swirl Cafe for providing pop-up coffee and snacks, and Faye from Kindersley Event & Party Supplies for the wonderful decorations.
The entire evening was a blend of laughter and nostalgic moments, and due to the triumph of this year’s fashion show, there’s already anticipation for another one next year.
And now, as one event has wrapped up, another one is under consideration—the Museum of Lights. The Museum recently posted on Facebook to gauge interest in assisting with this year’s Museum of Lights event. The request this year is for volunteers to commit their time, ensuring they can contribute consistently. This approach helps them assess whether to proceed with the event this year or pause it.
Should the decision be to proceed with the Museum of Lights, the tentative start date is October.
