The Parkinson’s Super Walk is being held on Saturday, September 9th at 9:30 AM in Meewasin Park, Saskatoon.
The Parkinson’s Community is determined and committed to continue providing support, education, advocacy, and guidance to anyone touched by Parkinson’s. These services cannot continue without the contributions and support from donors like our readers in the West Central Area. More than 100,000 Canadians live with Parkinson’s, and 25 or more are diagnosed every day, which is why ongoing research remains vital.
“With your continued support, we can sustain these vital services and move forward with research that I am hopeful will ultimately find a cure for future generations,” said Nancy Kelley, facilitator for the Kindersley and area Parkinson’s Support Group.
If you would like to join in the walk, the event details are as follows:
- Registration: 8:45 AM
- Walk Begins: 9:30 AM
- Snacks and Refreshments: 10:30 AM
- Ceremony start: 11:00 AM
- End of day: 11:30 AM
