Rosetown RCMP Respond to Erratic Driver, Theft of Fuel, Break and Enter

September 1, 2023:

12:13 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Rosetown, SK. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.
1:07 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of Stars Lottery fraud. There was insufficient evidence to proceed.
1:39 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a railway crossing malfunction near Zealandia, SK. Reported for information purposes.
5:31 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Fiske, SK. Members located the vehicle and issued a warning to the driver.
6:00 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle in Elrose, SK. Members located the owner, and nothing further was required.

September 2, 2023:

9:34 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Harris, SK. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.
6:27 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of theft of fuel from a local business. The matter is still under investigation.

September 3, 2023:

2:11 AM – During a traffic stop, Rosetown RCMP issued a 3-day license suspension to a 39-year-old male from Harris, SK.
11:27 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a single vehicle collision on a gravel road near Rosetown, SK. There were minor injuries.
1:00 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of uttering threats at a local business. The matter is still under investigation.

September 4, 2023:

4:12 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle at a rural farm. Members patrolled the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
7:50 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle on Highway 7. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.
10:58 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter to a residence in Rosetown, SK. The matter is still under investigation.

September 5, 2023:

3:55 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a stolen vehicle out of Saskatoon, SK. Members, along with SPS Air 1, located the vehicle in Tessier, SK. Members arrested and charged a 33-year-old male from Saskatoon with Possession of property, Obstruct Peace Officer, Possession for the purpose of trafficking, and Possession of methamphetamine.
11:35 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter at a work site near Rosetown, SK. The matter is still under investigation.

September 6, 2023:

8:55 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a vehicle failing to stop for a bus in Elrose, SK. Members located the driver and issued a verbal warning.
11:15 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of e-transfer fraud in Harris, SK. The matter is still under investigation.

September 7, 2023:

10:28 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of identity theft. The matter is still under investigation.

There were 62 Traffic related charges issued, 1 911 miss-dial call and 1 false alarm call.
