Welcome Vishal, Panago’s Newest Owner
Kindersley has recently welcomed Vishal, Panago’s newest owner to town!
In 2019, Vishal immigrated to Canada, where he began working with the Red Cross in BC, SK, and AB, while nurturing his passion for food through a weekend catering business. “I’ve been to many Panago locations and became familiar with the brand from my time working with the Red Cross in BC. I liked what I saw!” he explained.
The decision to purchase Kindersley’s Panago location was influenced by several factors. During his initial visit, Vishal was impressed with how well the previous owners had maintained the store. “It was immediately clear to me that the previous owners really cared about the restaurant and had done a great job running the business.” His familiarity with the Panago brand also played a role. “Panago offers something for everyone, which is what I really appreciate about the brand,” he explains. “Plus, one of my favorite pizzas is Panago’s Chicken Club, so that helps!”
As Vishal takes the reins at Kindersley’s location, he’s eager to continue with community involvement. Known for supporting local events such as school pizza days and providing pizzas during local hockey games, Vishal plans to not only continue these traditions but to expand the store’s community engagement. “I want to continue to give back and, if possible, do even more to support the local community,” he shared. Already, he is receiving outreach from community groups and is eagerly building new partnerships, especially with the schools and other business owners. “I’ve received so much support already! I’ve noticed Kindersley is a very close-knit community, people care very much about each other and are very welcoming,” says Vishal. “In both a personal and professional sense, I hope to ingrain myself within the community and continue to grow the business.”
With all of this in mind, the future promises to be an exciting chapter for both Vishal and Panago. Here’s to new starts and delicious pizzas! Cheers to the journey ahead!
