American defensive lineman Tre’ Crawford has recently joined the Saskatchewan Roughriders, following his tenure with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for the 2022-23 seasons.
Standing at 6’3″ and weighing 245 lbs, the 27-year-old Crawford participated in 12 games as a Tiger-Cat, achieving 18 defensive and one special teams tackle, four sacks, and a forced fumble. His professional journey began with the Atlanta Falcons in 2019 as an undrafted free agent, after which he spent time with the Denver Broncos (2019-2020).
Crawford’s college career was notable at the University of Alabama Birmingham (2017-18), where he played in 21 games, recording 43 tackles (13 for a loss), eight sacks, and two fumble recoveries. Before his time at UAB, he was at Tyler Community College (2015-16), where he made an impressive mark with 96 tackles, six sacks, a forced fumble, and an interception over two seasons.
