The Kindersley Fire Department has a leadership team with one Chief, two Deputy Chiefs, and various other Officers. With a current roster of 30 members, they proudly provide fire, medical assists, vehicle extrication, and other specialty services to the Town of Kindersley, RM of Kindersley (RM 290), and other various communities, totaling a first response area of over 4000sq/Km. With a commitment to training, fire prevention, and emergency response, the KFD is able to aid our community in times of need, protecting lives, property, and environment.

The fire and rescue service is one of the most diverse and challenging professions. This diversity inspires most men and women to enter the service. If you have been considering joining, now is a great time!

By becoming a member of the Kindersley Fire Department, you will be helping them exceed their objectives through continuous training. You will also assist in providing the most capable fire and emergency services possible, while remaining professional, ethical, and recognizing the rights of others.

-A Canadian Class 5 Drivers License (minimum)
-Minimum 18 years of age
-Ability to understand and communicate in English (written and oral)
-Physically able to perform tasks/duties of the job
-Able to commit to training and respond to emergency calls
-Live and/or work in the response area
-No conviction of a criminal offense related to the job duties of a firefighter
