KFD Public Education Helps Westberry Healthy Eating Program
At Kindersley Fire, being active in the community and collaborating with local groups is something the KFD team values. This past weekend, they had the privilege of hosting the Saskatchewan Volunteer Fire Fighters Association (SVFFA) fall school.
They are incredibly grateful to the staff at Westberry School, who stepped up to help. The teachers and educational assistants went above and beyond, volunteering to staff the bar during both evening socials. They did an amazing job!
Yesterday, the KFD was able to return the favor in a small way. Their public education team dropped off a few boxes of leftover fruit from the weekend to support Westberry’s healthy eating programs.
