Rosetown Responds to Erratic Driver, Fraud, Theft and Threats.

August 25, 2023:

3:15 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Harris, SK. Members located the vehicle and gave the driver a warning.

4:35 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of mischief in Rosetown, SK. Members spoke to the complainant, and nothing further was required.

9:38 PM – Rosetown RCMP provided assistance to a driver that had broken down on Highway 7 near Rosetown, SK.

1:53 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious person in Rosetown, SK. Members spoke to the subjects of complaint, and there was no suspicious activity.

August 27, 2023:

10:52 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision in Rosetown, SK. Members attended, and two vehicles collided at an intersection – there were no injuries.

7:16 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a request for a well-being check in Rosetown, SK. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

August 28, 2023:

9:44 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of check fraud. The matter is still under investigation.

6:55 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a railway crossing malfunction near Zealandia, SK. Reported for information purposes.

August 29, 2023:

1:54 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of theft from the Rosetown Leisure Aquatic Centre. The matter is still under investigation.

9:56 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of fraud. Members spoke to the subject of complaint, and nothing further was required.

August 30, 2023:

8:56 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an abandoned vehicle on Highway 7. The vehicle was towed.

9:00 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of trespassing. The matter is still under investigation.

9:54 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of uttering threats in Rosetown, SK. There was insufficient evidence to proceed.

12:21 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Tessier, SK. Members located the vehicle and issued the driver a traffic ticket.

8:03 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a request for a well-being check in Zealandia, SK. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

11:52 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of uttering threats in Rosetown, SK. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

August 31, 2023:

6:49 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision near Herschel, SK. Members attended, and there were minor injuries.

There were 38 Traffic related charges issued, 1 911 miss-dial call and 2 false alarm calls.
