Don’t put away your shovel just yet!

Snow is expected this weekend.

While it seems like spring is just around the corner, get your snow shovel ready because unfortunately there could be anywhere from 15-25 cm of snow, starting around 7 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Temperatures are also expected to drop to a possible minus 16 on Saturday, and even further on Sunday to possibly minus 21.

Such temperatures bring the risk of frostbite. Be careful to cover skin when outside and dress in layers. Take frequent breaks to warm up indoors, children and elderly should minimize time outdoors. Remember, your pets can feel the cold as well!
