Christie Ortman is Bringing Something New to Kindersley
Christie Ortman, an RN at the Kindersley hospital, is bringing something new and exciting to Kindersley!
Having been a nurse for 18 years, Ortman has dreamed of opening her own business but wasn’t ready to give up her career. “I have always had an interest in beauty and fashion as well as medicine but the two never seemed to mesh,” she explained. That is, however, until she became certified in medical aesthetics.
“The common ground seemed to be that it lights me up to be able to help people and see the joy on their face when they see a result they hoped for, being able to see the joy and excitement on people’s faces when they have a result that makes them feel better about their appearance is great. It seems superficial but our appearance affects so much in our lives…our self-esteem, our professional and social lives and even our mental health are closely tied to how we feel about our appearance, so to be able to assist in this area makes me very excited.”
Everi will offer several types of medical aesthetics. For now, they are offering neuromodulator injections and IV Vitamin therapy but will be adding dermal fillers at the beginning of May. More will be added in the future.
Everi will be holding the grand opening on March 18th and operating out of Tranquil Water Spa on Main Street. “We are VERY excited to be opening Kindersley’s new medically staffed aesthetics clinic. At our grand opening, we will be celebrating with some treats as well as the first ten patients to receive neuromodulator injections will receive a gift,” she shared.
“During your first visit, we will do a consultation to assess your health and discuss your aesthetic goals to ensure that our treatments are a good fit. If we decide to go ahead with treatment, we will take your photos for your confidential medical record, landmark for injections, & proceed with treatment. We provide an after-care instruction handout so you know exactly what to expect and we will book your complimentary two-week follow-up where we can assess your results as well as complete any touch-ups needed.”
