Saskatchewan is slowly but surely returning to its new normal with the coming of Phase 3 on June 8th. This follows hard of the heels of Phase 2, which was released on May 19th and opened many service businesses that were previously not allowed under Phase 2.

The services that are now able to open by following safety guidelines include gyms, childcare facilities, places of worship and businesses such as hair, tattoo, tanning and beauty parlours.

“All businesses that are eligible to re-open must follow the guidelines in the Re-Open Saskatchewan plan and the current public health order,” the May 21st press release noted.

Kindersley based businesses that are responding to the Phase 3 re-open include Busted Barbell Fitness, Anytime Fitness, Kindersley Bodyfit Fitness Lounge, Nails by Mikayla Long, Organic Tan Kindersley, A Blessed Home Childcare, and others.

SARCAN has also opened its doors for bulk orders by appointment only, and aims to have public access hours starting on June 15th.

The guidelines regarding gatherings has also widened, allowing groups of 15 people indoors and up to 30 for outdoor. Playgrounds, splash pads, swimming pools are still closed, but green spaces remain open for safe use.

The Saskatchewan Legislative Assembly will also be resuming its sittings with10 government members and five oppositional members on June 15th. The sittings will be in duration until July 3rd, Monday to Friday, with the exception of July 1st.
