Kindersley Fire Dispatched to a Structure Fire Today
This afternoon at 12:58 Kindersley Fire was dispatched to a structure fire in the 100 Block of 6th Avenue West.
By 1:05 p.m. all units were on the scene, and smoke was seen coming from the upstairs of the house. A primary search of the main floor was conducted as crews entered the structure and proceeded to the second floor.
Thankfully, the fire damage was contained to the second story, however, “the home had received extensive heat and fire damage,” says Kindersley’s Fire Chief Ron Hope.
There were no injuries, and one dog was removed from the main floor with no injuries.
By 1:18 p.m. the crew had the fire under control, and by 1:24 p.m. the fire was extinguished. Crews then performed an overhaul of the fire area, and by 3:07 p.m., all units were back in service.
Once again, Kindersley Fire did an outstanding job and worked swiftly so no further damage was done, and everyone was kept safe!
