Klippers Season Is Currently on Hold
After cancelled and game delays the Klippers’ season is now currently on hold.
Due to the province’s increased COVID restrictions, which are in place at least until December 17th the Klippers have halted play until January, but hope to hit the ice in the new year. Until then, they thank fans, billets, and local busninesses who have supported and stood by them during these uncertain times.
Numerous SHJL teams have taken to social media to voice their concerns over the government’s decision, however they have also said they understand and will do their part in helping to lower COVID cases.
In addition to hockey, all team and group sports, activities, games, competitions, recitals and practices have been suspended, including, curling, racquet sports, cheerleading, dance practices in group setting.
