Alleged WCB Fraud Sees SaskTel Lose $47K

When WCB discovered the employee was working elsewhere, it declined to reimburse SaskTel.
SaskTel is seeking legal action against a former employee to recoup almost $47,000 in an alleged fraudulent Worker’s Compensation claim.
The employee received full wage-loss benefits for the WCB claim, but in the meantime was working part-time with another employer, according to the most recent quarterly report on losses of public money within Crown corporations.
