Sr. Klippers VS Kerrobert

By Kevin Martin

Friday night at the Co-op Arena at the WCEC in Kindersley provided an entertaining hockey game between the Kindersley Sr. Klippers and the Kerrobert Tigers. The freight train that was the Klippers kept on rolling along as they took the match in a decisive manner and outscored the Tigers 9 to 1. These guys don’t seem to have any weak areas and goalie Luke Sproule played well between the pipes again and Johnny Calkins had an impressive goal near the end of the first period. Years past have seen these two teams have a heated rivalry where games could have gone either way and fans from both towns would make the trip to cheer on their teams.

The Seniors can’t seem to lose even with some players in and out of the line-up. They are so strong in all areas.

Next home game is January 15th versus Edam. An early puck drop at 5:00 pm.
