Reminder to Not Pass School Buses When Safety Lights or Stop Arm in Use

Residents are reminded of the Traffic Safety Act (TSA).

Drivers are prohibited from passing a school bus in the same direction when its safety lights are in operation. Drivers on a highway must stop at least five meters from the rear or front of a school bus that has its safety lights and stop arm in operation and shall not proceed until safety lights and stop arm use are discontinued.
