SJHL Showcase to Be Held Sept 25-28
The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League will be holding its annual Showcase from September 25th -28th at The Legends Centre in Warman, SK.
In a statement, the SJHL shared this:
“As a league we believe that post-secondary sports is an excellent pathway for our players to combine both academics and athletics.
The SJHL Showcase does indeed provide an opportunity to assist our players to make successful transitions to post-secondary hockey opportunities, including U Sports, ACAC and NCAA levels, and more successful transitions from hockey to the world of work. Last season almost 25% of our players successfully transitioned to a post-secondary hockey opportunity.
The SJHL has created a new strategic plan for the league that focuses on Hockey Operations, Business Operations and the Marketing of our players and our brand. We also have a new vision for the league.
The SJHL will be western Canada’s premier Junior “A” Hockey League known for its exceptional player development and its commitment to its players, its people, and the communities we serve.
All social media platforms will be coordinated and activated and the SJHL brand and our players will be prominent both inside and outside of the province. HockeyTV will also be better leveraged to promote the league, our players, and our brand. We are hoping that you will continue to support our players and the SJHL.
Rich Past. Strong Future.
We look forward to showcasing our SJHL talent and our exciting brand of hockey.”
