Kindersley & District Co-op’s Amy and Lana Receive Service Awards
The Kindersley & District Co-op renovations are progressing full steam ahead!
Over the next eleven months, the Co-op will undergo various changes, including the addition of a project center and interior upgrades.
In July, the entrance at the Home Centre in Kindersley was moved, and the temporary entrance during the remainder of the renovations will be the east entrance.
If you need parking, please use the parking lot located on the east side for convenient access.
Updates as of August 16th:
- The front entrance has been relocated to the east side of the building. Follow the signage for the new entrance.
- The tills have also been moved closer to the entrance, occupying the old paint room.
- The pavement at the front door has been removed to make way for the new entrance and extension. The Kindersley Co-op appreciates your patience as they proceed with the renovations.
- Workers have started removing the exterior cladding of the Home Center at the front!
- Concrete has been poured for the footings of our new front door and for our new project centre.
- The footings for our new front door and projects centre have been poured! This gives us a good vision of how our home centre is going to be improved.
- Work is also starting the the petroleum department, redirecting our pipes to add an upstairs bathroom! Please use caution when entering our Petroleum department as construction will be simultaneously working during store hours.
In addition to the renovations, two members of the Kindersley Co-op team have celebrated significant years of service.
Lana from the Kindersley Home Centre Construction department on 5 years of service. Lana was presented her award by Lumber Manager David. Amy from the Kindersley Food Store on 10 years of service. Amy was presented her award by Kevin, the Kindersley Food Store Assistant Manager.
Congratulations to both! It’s always a pleasure to visit the store and see both of you there!
